CEZ Plans

Plans for Community Enhancement Zones (CEZ) outline sustainable ways to accommodate the future job, household, and population growth throughout the Stanislaus County region. CEZ planning focuses on connecting current and future communities with major planned transportation investments in the corridor to increase the accessibility of multimodal transportation options for local residents. Through facilitating robust community and stakeholder engagement, CEZ plans convene regional partners to envision land use and active transportation investments in tandem with setting priority focus areas for new housing growth within Environmental Justice communities. Such plans to increase and diversify the ways for residents to move, live, and enjoy Stanislaus County will create region-wide benefits for the decades to come.
