The Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) is planning for the next 25 years of growth, transportation, and housing in our region. Your feedback is essential in guiding how we invest in roads, transit, biking, and walking options. Scenario 1: Business as Usual

This scenario maintains current plans, adds small homes like duplexes, and continues already approved transportation projects (including a new bus rapid transit route and bike lanes).

Scenario 2: Mixed Use with Increased Transit

Brings homes, jobs, and services together along major transit routes and adds fast bus service with improved walking and biking access, enabling people to reach transit without driving.

Focuses on adding housing near employment centers, expands transit, and regional bike networks to better connect neighborhoods to jobs.
